Hope in the Glory of God

We gain hope in the glory of God through Jesus Christ.

The hope in a future salvation is sure because we have experienced reconciliation with God. The world is in distress, but we are not hopeless. When we experience the suffering of the world, we rejoice because we know that it produces in us endurance–it makes us stronger. And endurance produces character–that we have been tested and found to be in the presence of God. And character produces in us hope so that we don’t despair over our lives, no matter how difficult life becomes, but we also rejoice in God. 

Jesus died for us while we were weak, ungodly sinners. 

We are in the presence of God now. 

Jesus died for the forgiveness of sins. 

Jesus rose so we would have life. 

We will be saved in the Day of the Lord.
