Arise and Shine
What is Epiphany?
Ephipany is celebrated on January 6th and marks the end of the 12 days of Christmas. It is often celebrated by remembering the visit of the Magi (often called the Three Wise Men) to the infant Jesus, symbolizing Christ's manifestation to the Gentiles — since they were Gentiles who came to worship the King of the Jews. We can celebrate Epiphany using many passages of scripture that point to the Gospel of Jesus going into all the world to bring the Gentiles in.
The Church is the Light to the Nations
Christ’s church is to be a beacon of light to lead the world out of the darkness so that they can walk in the light that is Christ. The whole world is offered grace and restoration to the Kingdom of God as the Church rises to shine the glory of God in a dark world.
Good News and the Praise of Christ
The world needs to see our authentic devotion to Christ.
