He Must Be Raised

Matthew 28:16-20 shows us four ways to respond to Jesus's Resurrection.

1. Jesus’s People Worship Jesus (Jesus is King of Heaven and Earth)

2. Jesus’s People Kneel to Jesus (Baptism as Pledge of Allegiance)

3. Jesus’s People Obey Jesus (Everything He Has Commanded)

4. Jesus’s People Make Jesus Followers

We respond to Jesus’s resurrection with worship because of who he is. If Jesus is the greatest and only power in heaven and on earth, we give our allegiance to Jesus. When we acknowledge the authority of a King, we obey that King. So we respond to Jesus’s resurrection with obedience, which means radical love towards God’s people.
