- God is a creative God and we are his imagers. Pray for creative use of a limited space and creative fundraising ideas.
- Our concept of what God has in mind for us is limited by our humanity and sinfulness. Pray for sanctification of mind and heart. We also know we are unable to do everything that we want to do because of human constraints, many of which we do not understand (building codes, city requirements, etc.). Pray for God to go before us and to provide in every area we lack understanding.
- Thank God for his provision. We have a construction manager volunteering his time and an architect who is a follower of Jesus and works frequently with churches and the city of Palmdale.
- As we approach the new year, we will need a contractor/builder to develop the building and the property. Pray for God to reveal the right person.
- Pray for financial needs: Fundraising, Lending, Cost-effectiveness of the project.
- Pray for favor with the city of Palmdale. Here are some things that could be problematic:
- Square footage on the property
- Enough parking for the size of the worship center we need to build
- Setback requirements that may complicate our ability to build a sufficient size building
