Some Christians are content with head knowledge with a weak prayer life. Others find ways to feel connected to God that the Bible has not taught. In this message from Lamentations 5, we will learn from Jeremiah that prayer is more than asking. It’s spending time with our Father, and getting to know him, not just about him. In this we find that prayer is the source of true spirituality.
Come, Lord Jesus, Come!
Our life is neither hopeless nor meaningless. What we do matters to God. This message encourages us to REMEMBER that there is a future for Christians and that the future is foundational to the Christian faith. We are to WATCH and pray for the arrival of the future return of Jesus. And we LIVE as though what we do in life now matters to God in the end—our lives are not hopeless or meaningless, but purposeful and valuable in God’s eyes.
